This should not only give the work the appearance of a certain claim but ideally also give the audience an indication of the direction in which everything will move. When on the Netflix series Who Murdered Sara? If Agatha Christie is referred to as an introduction, then this naturally raises certain expectations. After all, the British author is connected to the concept of the Whodunnit crime novel like no other. A murder occurs and the investigating protagonists have to find the right person from a series of suspects.

Plot Summary

Who murdered Sara?” Initially arouses the expectation of a classic crime thriller, combines this with a revenge thriller, until the series plunges headlong into soap opera abysses. Anyone who wants to see a lot of drama about terrible characters who make life a hell of themselves as a matter of principle and carry a lot of dark secrets with them can take a look. The rest will be bored here, however, and in the end, they will be really annoyed.

The search for the truth

The prerequisites for such a crime thriller are also given here. Because even if Álex is firmly convinced at the beginning that Rodolfo is the murderer, in the course of the ten episodes it turns out that somehow everyone would have had a motive to wish the young woman died. The title of the Mexican series has therefore already been chosen appropriately. At the same time, however, it becomes clear just as early on that it was with Who murdered Sara? is not a pure crime thriller.

All against all

A second successful idea in Who Murdered Sara? is that there is not a strict separation between the suspects and the investigating person. With Elisa ( Carolina Miranda ), Rodolfo’s sister, we have a character who constantly switches back and forth between the pages. On the one hand, she feels obliged to her family, but also wants to find out the truth for herself – which initially happens out of self-protection, later because she develops feelings for Álex. And then there is the unknown person who hides behind the pseudonym Diana and sends messages. When there is still a lot of integration behind the scenes, the duel turns into an asymmetrical multi-front war, it finally goes haywire.

Conclusion

That can be a festival for those who just want to see such excesses. Who are not interested in complex characters, but prefer the mallet method. For whom it is also no problem that the story is completely over the top and proliferates in a world of its own away from reality.

Who Killed Sara (Netflix) Tv Series Review 👎👎

Only good for the newbies in the thriller genre

[248,88,55,35,80,77,70,79,86,33
64,66,246,247
post-5026","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tv-series-review","category-american","category-genres","category-movies","category-netflix","category-origin","category-review","category-streaming-service","category-thriller","category-tv-series","tag-editorial-picks","tag-spoiler-free-review","tag-tv-series","tag-tv-series-review
