Review

Nelson, with his dark humor and witty screenplay had given back-to-back blockbusters. Hence, a treat was expected when the maker chose to direct Vijay this time. But unfortunately, beast was a misfire.

Nothing works in beast, be it the narration, the plot, or the humor Nelson is good at presenting, While from start to end, the comedy felt extremely cringe and screenplay felt snoozy, even the stylishly choreographed stunts with Anirudh’s BGM’s too failed to give Beast an edge.

Conclusion

If you’re an ardent fan of Vijay, you can try watching this once.
