Introduction

Today we’re talking about the first Indian heist and racing movie; Dhoom. Dhoom has a cult, not followers. The latest entry, Dhoom 3, made Rs. 556 Crore at the box office. The series just got better and better with each release. But we’ll talk about the origin of the series, Dhoom.

Music

Music is on the lighter side if we talk about the impactful forces of the movie. But there’s one song that is used in every entry of the Dhoom Series like Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. You guessed it. Its’ β€œDhoom Machale Dhoom” by Sunidhi Chauhan.

The lyrics go like this:

β€œIshq ishq karna hai kar le
Ishq ishq mein jee le mar le
Ishq ishq hai sab se pyaara
Ishq ishq karna hai kar le
Ishq ishq mein jee le mar le
Ishq ishq na ho dobaara
Ishq hi to zindagi hai
Ishq hi to har khushi hai
Ishq mein khud
Ko bhulaake jhoom
Dhoom machaale
Dhoom machaale dhoom
Dhoom machaale”

I bet it made you remember your childhood. Did I?

β€œThis Hollywood masterpiece offers crucial lessons about prejudice and the fears that motivate it.” TS Yellin

Plot Summary

When a group of bikers robbed several spots in the city, ACP Jai took the matter into his hands with his sidekick Ali, who’s a mechanic.

Start of a Cult

I think this film turned out to be a turning point in Indian Cinema. This is a change in the style of filmmaking and saw the production of cult classics such as Sholay, Namak Halaal, and Don. A movie with unforgettable characters and a well-designed plot. Although the movies mentioned above and Dhoom are not necessarily the same type, Dhoom will become a cult classic in the future. The beginning of a real “Indian action movie” with fast-paced vehicles, cool and insightful criminals, and fearless, smart, and interesting law enforcement officers. There is no “hype” emotion. There is no plan for revenge, and there is no mother, father, sister, childhood sweetheart, etc.

The movie focuses on the moment it happens and only involves the people who need to be present. The execution of the story is very economical. Nothing is superfluous. The dialogue is appropriate and interesting. Catchy and unforgettable music. There are no unnecessary songs, and the dance sequence is well arranged. In terms of production quality, you can always trust Yash Raj Films to find the right product.

Acting Performances

The behavior was good. Udy Chopra’s Character Ali stole the show with the cartoon line of him. The misunderstandings that he found in the center of himself will create a variety of cartoon situations. The scene that moved her was what she asked about her character if she really could shoot him? There is no visual joke, Ali is very serious at a time in the movie.  Abhishek was a very serious and slightly anal detective “Jai Dixit”, but he is a person who loves his work first.

The only exception to this is his sweet wife. Motivating him in search of his Kabir and his gangsters. John Abraham is as sexy as “Kabir” could get, and he is waiting for the same as the people who surround him and do not suffer from the people around him. In this sense, he and Jai are equal. Maybe they started enjoying the game of “cat and mouse” that goes crazy throughout the film.

The girls were better at helping “a caramel” than other things! On Earth, ESHA might seem so long, and she brings attraction, is cute, and the role of the sexy woman thief is cute, and she emotionally always looks disturbed, even if her character is her character, even if her character is Character, even more fun and more memorable, are constantly invested in its native Bengal.
