Our review for Kedarnath is 7.5/10.

Summary

The movie kicks off with the introduction of Mansoor, a porter in Kedarnath who helps pilgrims reach the temple by carrying them to the top. Mandakini, daughter of a priest in Kedarnath falls in love with Mansoor. There happens a major clash between both Mansoor’s family and the group of priests due to the reason that both belong to different religions. While Manzoor and Mandakini struggle to clear things off and reunite, a massive flood outbreak and destroys the place.

Review

Kedarnath is a cheesy inter-religion love story that shows the obvious issues the couple has to face for falling in love with a person of a different belief. More than Sushant, what astonished me was Sara in this movie. I know how good an actor Sushant is but I have never seen Sara pull off such a role with such ease. Hence, undoubtedly Sara scored high when it comes to performances in Kedarnath.

One of the biggest strengths of the movie is the visuals. The scenery and divinity of Kedarnath were shown in a convincing way. When it comes to the shots of the 2013 floods, recreating such a disastrous environment is a challenge. The last portions of the movie literally show the horrific face of natural calamity that wiped off the place and the visuals were stunning with no flaws.

Conclusion

Kedarnath is a decent love story but more than that the movie comes with some superb visuals for which one would give it a try.
