Tom Cruise one of everyone’s favorite actors has done hundreds of movies till now.  In this article, I am going to share the top 10 all-time favorite Tom Cruise movies.

Whether it’s his much anticipated action film Top Gun, a romantic drama Jerry Maguire or a mystery thriller where he’s a calculated murderer  Collateral, the actuall extremely versatile Cruise has continually embodied the pure definition of what a movie star should be.

Jerry Maguire

The very first movie on the list is Tom Cruise’s all-time watch- Jerry Maguire. Tom Cruise stars as Jerry Maguire, a sports agent who is brought to a point of crisis in his life when he unexpectedly decides to become an honorable decent man.

The film follows his comedic journey to redemption through an unlikely alliance with a female accountant, and the least important client on his roster. This movie has romance, comedy, drama, and even sports and the cast including Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Renée Zellweger makes it a perfect watch for Saturday night. The movie is so nice that it would make you question yourself at the end that why don’t they make movies like this anymore?

Collateral

Collateral is a 2004 American neo-noir action-thriller film starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. This movie portrays Tom Cruise in a completely different light than the role he played in Jerry Maguire.  But still, Tom Cruise is on the top of his game, and so is Jamie Foxx.

Tom Cruise plays Vincent, a highly dedicated assassin. Foxx plays Max, an LA cabbie forced to drive Vincent about so he can assassinate five people in one night. Cruise is radiant as Vincent and I am certain that you will remember him long after you watch the movie.

Minority Report

A film that works on our minds and our emotions, Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report is entertaining in every bit of it. The movie is based in 2054 where the police harness a highly Advanced technology to frame and arrest criminals before they succeed in committing a crime.

The Protagonist of a movie who is a cop finds himself guilty of the murder of a man who he has never seen before. He goes through to find the unexpected truth in the end.

Yet another different genre and yet another amazing performance by Tom Cruise. If you are a person who loves twists and turns, this movie is for you as there were so many of it that there was no way for it to be “predictable”.

for a pipe dream of safety and security..

At the core of this powerful and profound movie is the all-important question: What are we prepared to give up to have a crime-free society?

Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles

And when you start to feel that this man can’t surprise us with another genre, he proves us wrong again by portraying the role of a vampire in the film interview with the Vampire, a 1994 American gothic horror film directed by Neil Jordan.

This movie is about a vampire telling at least part of his life story to an interviewer, concerning an arrogant, “evil” vampire named Lestat, his refusing to kill humans (at least, to start with), his moping and their “child” Claudia. A mesmerizing film and Cruise as Lestat has done a fantastic job with the character, making it a must-watch for the TVD fans out there.

Edge of Tomorrow

This movie is a masterwork with a well-scripted direction and amazing cast starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Initially, a coward Major William Cage is a military man caught in a time loop who turns into a confident person as he is destined to battle invading aliens day after day in a repeating bid to save Earth from Armageddon. The movie is remarkable and worth your time.
