One Line Review: Action is jam-packed. There are some memorable scenes in the film, as well as some that aren’t so memorable.

Introduction
Tuck Jagadish, a Telugu action drama, is now available on Amazon Prime Video in its entirety. Director Shiva Nirvana has cast Nani along with Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu, Daniel Balaji and others in the film. The cast also includes Nassar, Parvathi T, Rohini, and Devadarshini. The film is 145 minutes in length and has English subtitles.
Plot analysis
The action of the story takes place in a village where wealthy families refuse to coexist peacefully, with the farmers bearing the brunt of the consequences. In contrast, Aadisesh Naidu (Nassar) is wise and concerned about the villagers, whereas Veerendra (Daniel Balaji) takes pleasure in tormenting innocent people. The peace will be maintained by Aadisesh’s sons, Bosu Babu (Jagapathi Babu) and Jagadish after his death (Nani). However, the road ahead is not without its difficulties, as it is paved with betrayal and greed.
Action and Bloodshed all over
As we witness a great deal of bloodshed and villages being mistreated in the first 20 minutes of the film, it is extremely upsetting. I was completely engrossed in the drama and intrigued to see how Jagadish would make his entrance into the scene. As was expected and anticipated, he makes a triumphant entrance in grand fashion.
When Jagadish returns from the United States, he is taken aback by the state of the village. However, he does very little to assist them until the situation becomes personal. Having discovered the reason for his actions, Jagadish is prepared to smash and punish anyone who attempts to harm him, his family, or the villagers. Along with many fast-paced action scenes, the filmmakers also included a heartfelt family drama in their production, which we appreciated.
Although Tuck Jagadish is primarily concerned with the political stalemate unfolding on the screen, Jagadish also finds himself in a predicament when his niece Chandra (played by Aishwarya Rajesh) expresses an interest in becoming his wife. I realize that sounds disgusting, but he thankfully respects their uncle-niece relationship and declines her proposal. There are some romantic scenes between Nani and Gummadi Varalakshmi (Ritu Varma) interspersed throughout the adrenaline-fueled narration. However, they are ineffective in reducing the level of tension.
What works and what doesnβt
To avoid giving away any major plot points in my Tuck Jagadish review, I’ll just tell you what works and what doesn’t in this film. The action sequences are well-choreographed and will no doubt impress the audience members. The music is upbeat and in tune with the film’s mood and atmosphere. Nani, Bosu Babu, and Daniel Balaji are all excellent actors who deliver powerful performances. Nani’s incredible stunts and fight scenes leave you wondering if he does these things on a daily basis! The supporting cast also does a good job in their roles. Unfortunately, the screenplay lags and becomes monotonous from time to time, leaving you with no choice but to scroll ahead. Apart from that, the chemistry between Jagadish and Gummadi is mediocre and does little to advance the narrative.
Conclusion
For the record, if I had to summarize the film in a few words, it would be that it is a competently produced masala entertainer with plenty of action and drama. It has its flaws, but it is the first true South Indian masala action-drama to be released in a long time, and it is one that you should definitely watch.
