Story/Plot

Kabir Thapar aka Bunny is a happy go lucky guy who is passionate about traveling and exploring himself on the go. Avinash and Adithi are his friends and the trio are together since school.

Naina is an introverted girl who is doing her medicine and spends most of the time studying. Naina happens to accidentally meet Adithi who was her schoolmate too and gets to know that she and her friends are planning to go on trekking to Manali.

Naina who has never gone out like that decides to get inside the trekking team and happens to meet Bunny and Avinash along with Adithi during the trip.

Naina falls head-upon love with Bunny but his dreams part them. A few years later, the three of them meet again for Adithi’s marriage and the rest is how life changed them and what fate has planned for them.

Review

Direction ??

Ayan Mukherji without a doubt had done a perfect job as a director. He was successful in making the movie perfect by balancing all the elements. Nothing looks forced or misplaced in the entire movie.

Performances ?

Performance-wise no one will ever forget Bunny, Avi, Naina, or Adithi as all four of them – Ranbir, Adithya, Deepika, and Kalki literally lived being the characters given to them.

Music ??

After the story, one of the biggest plus points in the movie is the music by Pritam. Each and every song in the album were chartbusters even before its release.

The flow of the movie from start to end was with ease and the dialogues were so relatable that everyone can sit back and just dive-into the plot Ayan has created in YJHD.

Conclusion

There is love, there are dreams, there are sentiments and there is life in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. A highly recommended movie for everyone.
