Introduction

Do you like Heist movies? …and Do you like zombie apocalypse movies? How about one with both factors in it? I’m totally down for that. What up with the Spanish movies, my boys spilling out some really good heist stories. First Le Casa De Papel now the Army of the dead. Too much action to handle. Well, this time Zack Snyder took charge of bringing to us the ultimate apocalypse heist drama that couldn’t have been any better.

“It’s two hours and 28 minutes of packed-to-the-gills video-game-meets-21st-century-Western-meets-day-of-the-living-dead fun, all staged by Snyder with a jaunty spirit of gung-ho classicism.”

Plot Summary

During a zombie outbreak, a bunch of people decides to do the biggest heist the country has ever seen. But zombies made the heist a pain in the bottom and even life-threatening.

The Ultimate Direction and Editing

Army of the dead is by far the most action-filled zombie movie ever created by any of the production houses whatsoever. And Zack Snyder is the best thing that happened to this movie. The director is solely responsible for the best performance and deep character-audience connection in this movie. The editing team was spot on, the scene of Ella Purnell, which was shot post completion of the movie was edited so swiftly in the movie you won’t believe it for first.

Performance

Dave Batista played the character beautifully. The character is not typical fearless, ruthless, perfect, indestructible but has fears, does mistakes like humans, very concerned about his afterlife once the heist is over. He has fears for his daughter’s safety during the zombie outbreak. None other than Batista could’ve played this any better. A big buffed guy, who seems indestructible but is very much vulnerable.

Ella Purnell, super amazing. You can not sense even for a moment that her scenes are filmed after the film got completed and then edited in it. That only shows us the level of quality of direction, production, editing, and acting.

Conclusion

Dude, this isn’t like any other zombie movie. This one has all the action and all the special effects the zombie world has ever seen. The VFX is just spot on, I swear this is the most well-produced apocalypse movie you’ll ever see. Don’t just lie around on your couch. Hit the play button.
