Introduction

Continuing the Dark trilogy review, we’re discussing season two today. Comparing to the first one, this season is way more thrilling and confusing at the same time. A real treat to the eyes.

What’s it all about?

It is a story about a child who goes missing and a man who comments suicide on the same day. Somehow they both are connected. The missing child goes back in time and becomes the man who committed suicide on the same day.

Time Travel that makes sense

A setback to this program could be easy, if not for the writer’s good work, its time travel story, because it is very difficult for us to face reality and create a reasonable time travel story. Typically, programs dealing with this topic run the risk of losing their logical explanation and then witnessing everything turn chaotic. But “Darkness” undoubtedly takes this topic to the extreme and provides us with a complex program that you will eventually understand. Simply put, time travel also exists on the show as a metaphor for facing yourself, the past, and the future, and paving the way for growth (and possibly destruction). It doesn’t really mess up the timeline of your different ranges, and it records all the complexity, all the timelines, and weaves everything into a neat circle. Sometimes it can get incomprehensible and seemingly random, which will definitely be confusing, but things are going well. In the end, everything goes well.

The unconnected connection

Trying to explain the dark plot is like trying to understand whether the chicken or the egg came first. This is one of the most complex stories ever written, but with a reasonable design and perfect plan, it will never cease to amaze you in no time. All the writers planned, and not a single detail was missed. The Easter eggs are arranged throughout the show, and the whole plot is way too clever. So smart that it will always surprise you. The stories are interrelated and no episode will leave you without doubts. You’ll definitely want more, and when you think you’ve figured out the plot, the playwright will come up with another secret, another trick that will definitely leave you speechless. It’s amazing, I can’t tell you how many times my jaw dropped while watching this show.

Conclusion

This series is turning out the be ridiculously fantastic. Once again, Season two is perhaps the best season of the series. No disrespect to other seasons.
