Introduction

Hey guys. Today we’re reviewing a film that got a legacy from its parent films and continued the same in an elegant style. We’re talking about Star Trek Beyond. Let start digging.

Trivia

At the end of the movie, the creators gave credits (β€œfor Anton”) for Anton Yelchin as just before the release of the film he dies in a vehicle accident.

No one can replace good actors like Anton Yelchin and Paul Walker. The role they played in their movies will be remembered for decades. Rest in Peace their beautiful souls.

Iconic dialogues from this movie

Compassion: that’s the one thing no machine ever had. Maybe it’s the one thing that keeps men ahead of them.” — Dr. McCoy

“We prefer to help ourselves. We make mistakes, but we’re human–and maybe that’s the word that best explains us.” — Captain James T. Kirk

Spock: Fear of death is illogical.

Bones: Fear of death is what keeps us alive.

Kirk: I think you’re underestimating humanity.

Critic Reviews

“The result is a taut piece of filmmaking, with perfectly choreographed action scenes and a rapid-fire pace that only leaves time to gasp for air.” Dwight Brown

“The best thing about Beyond is that it remembers that the core strength of Star Trek is the camaraderie and friendship of the Enterprise’s leadership unit.” Moviefreak.com

Plot Summary

A dangerous and fearless dictator, Krall, attacked the outer space station and created a hostage situation. Now, Kirk, Spock, and the crew must find a way to break out from the situation and prevent Krall from destroying the plant and the space station.

Insane fandom of Star trek

Star Trek is one of those films that are insanely famous, especially among Sci-Fi fans. I think this is the film series that started the space warfare concept. This concept is still very relevant and interesting. Of course, if you take anything for granted it will backfire. For example commerce space sweepers. This film took scenes and sequences from different space warfare movies, compiled them into one, added a few more scenes, created a different climax, and thought it would blast the book box office because it has a space warfare theme. Let me tell you it was lame.

On the other hand, Star Trek was a package compiled with equal proportions of everything great. Not only it teaches us the INS and outs of the space sci-Fi genre but also how to make a film so iconic that your upcoming generation will love them. Before Marvel comic universe and DC comic universe was famous for their cutting edge films and production quality star tract paved the road for a smooth and flawless general Pak. I have seen countless references of Star track in TV and web shows. The Big bang Theory is full of them. Sheldon and his side cakes were initially in love with it. It was like a religion. No other film has reached this far with its fandom.

The Legacy continued

The very amazing thing about Star Trek Beyond is that it continues the legacy the original Star Trek created. Nothing it has crosses the line of that legacy. That’s how great movies and their sequels thrive. Not just survive. You might think of it as a minor point but believe me, it isn’t. In fact, this is one of the most important things to consider when you’re making a sequel for a series that has a very Polarised fanbase and a history to die for.

Seeing this movie Walking on the way the first Star trek paved is amazing. Films like Terminator, Die Hard, Back To Future, and Fast and Furious created a very big and booming hype for them, but the sequels didn’t quite hold on to that. The sequels ruined the legacy and the fun.

Conclusion

Star Trek Beyond Review

So that’s it, guys. That’s all I have to say about this film. I got a bit sad when I wrote the Trivia Section and the sudden death of Anton Yelchin. He was a great pal to have in your film. I remember when the news of Paul Walker’s death got public. It was really a horrific and sad day for me and hundreds and thousands of fans.
