Review

Major starts with a glimpse of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s personal life, his family, love life and his way to the Indian Army as a soldier. When the first half nears to an end, the story picks up its pace and delivers goosebumps, emotions and an insight to a soldier’s life and sacrifices he makes.

Adivi Shesh was extraordinary as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The fictional elements in Major was a drawback. If the tale stuck to reality as much as possible, it could have been more relatable. With flimsy dialogues throughout the movie and dramatic additions to the tale, it felt like just another fictional world. It was the second half of the movie that actually brought the reality part into the picture, depicting the happenings inside the taj.

Conclusion

A tribute to the hero of India, Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
