Introduction

La Casa De Papel aka Money Heist is one of the web series that is loved by most people in the world. The show, surprisingly, didn’t do well initially but later got a huge fan following and became a grand success.

β€œRobbers have become better at holding the fort, they are sharper and snazzier. The season also stands out for its brilliant backstories we never knew we needed.”

Our rating for Money Heist season 5 is 10/10.

Summary

The hideout of the heist’s mastermind β€˜Professor’ was found out by an outraged Sierra and she tortures him to get his plans regarding the heist. Whereas inside the museum, Lisbon takes over the command and leads the gang. Tamayo goes all restless and decides to send the army to take over the whole gang. Lisbon tries to negotiate with Gandia and things get worse soon in the museum as never before. Parallelly professor should somehow free himself from the clutches of the strong-willed Sierra to take back his control as his team was falling apart inside the museum.

Review

Things get really tense and gripping like never before in this season and the whole thing is packed with some intense action sequences. The first two episodes might feel as if they are slow-paced but later on it’s full of guns, bullets, bombs, and blood. What made Money Heist such a great success is the strategy of the professor regarding his heists and the character arcs of all the characters. Here too, the makers gave us a glance to some unseen sides of the characters with flashback episodes which gives an emotional edge to the whole thing.

Though nothing looks odd or bad in this season, I got one slight frown on my forehead because of the decision of the makers to make the whole thing a two-volume season. Even Though a lot of things happen on screen nothing too much changes in the story. Maybe if they released both volumes as one single season, it might have given a lot more goosebumps and wow factors than whatever volume 1 delivered.

Conclusion

Professor and his gang are still at their best and nothing should stop you from watching this season if you have watched the previous rest.
