Introduction

“Dark” is, no doubt, the best supernatural sci-fi series on Netflix. The narrative is puzzling and completely complex, but you can see how planned it is and how much time was invested in producing and creating the show. There are several reasons that make this program a wonderful series that will surely turn your mind. Now sci-fi isn’t something everyone likes, which is understandable but trust me, “Darkness” really takes it to the next level. If I haven’t convinced you to see it, I hope the following analysis can.

What’s it all about?

It is a story about a child who goes missing and a man who comments suicide on the same day. Somehow they both are connected. The missing child goes back in time and becomes the man who committed suicide on the same day.

Best Character and their development

There are many characters in the dark and I will not lie. For people who don’t like a lot of roles, this may bring some challenges, but it’s worth it. No character is a pure saint, this is the best part of this show. There is no distinction between good and evil, but a real fact, that is, good and evil exist in everyone. In any case, we are all heroes and villains in history. It’s compelling to see how you, as an audience, deal with your initial biases and opinions about the character, and how they change as the show progresses. It will make you so contradictory until you are sure who is wrong and who is right, you will certainly sympathize with all of them. This is how the show’s characters are made, which makes choosing your favorite character very difficult.

Visual treat

In addition to excellent actor leadership and a super chaotic but wonderful plot, Dark also has exquisite visual effects, definitely 10/10. The ghostly forest environment provides an excellent perspective for the story and increases the audience’s sense of fear and awe. The cave also provides the atmospheric essence for the story and is the forerunner of time travel that connects everything. These scenes are creepy and most disturbing. They always seem to announce impending doom. It can be agreed that cinematography has indeed added a complete impetus to the entire series, specifically adding suspense stories. It complements the show well and is one of the reasons why the show is amazing.
