Summary

Even after three decades, Pete remains as a captain US Navy because of his fondness of flying aircrafts. He gets called back to Top Gun as an instructor to train their best recruited students to be a part of a mission to destroy a Uranium Enrichment plan that will stand as a threat against the nation if not bombed.

Among the set of students Pete has to train, there is Bradley Bradshaw, son of his old wingman, late ‘Geese’. Pete has to confront Bradshaw aka Rooster who is not very fond of him after his father’s death and should also ready the team for the risky mission in a very short span of time.

Review

Top Gun Maverick has a touch of vintage American films throughout and is crafted in a very good way as a movie. Top gun is not just an action thriller, it is gives more of a feel good vibes, digs deep into the characters through short but sharp dialogues and portray a lot of emotions as well.

Tom Cruise is excellent as Maverick and as you can guess the man himself has flown the aircrafts for the movie. With less CGI and more real stunts, Top gun gives you a seat-edge experience, especially through the climax.

The movie is brilliantly tied to its prequel, with references to certain incidents and characters.

Conclusion

Top Gun Maverick is a classic action movie that will interest moviegoers and is a must watch in big-screens.
