Summary

Kamala Khan is a Pakistani Muslim who resides in America. Her family ended up in America after Kamala’s mother decided to move due to mistreatment by others as they were forced to move to Pakistan after the partition of India.

Being raised by strict parents, Kamala is an ardent fan of comics and superheroes. She stumbles across a mysterious bangle sent by her grandmother and acquires superpowers as she wears it. While trying to explore this new ‘gift’ she got, trying not to get her identity exposed, Kamala learns a lot about herself and the threat that lies ahead of her because of this superpower she now posses.

Review

Ms Marvel is nothing new but something interesting indeed. Even though Peter Parker is there, we haven’t yet seen a super hero who’s in her teenage, being messy and careless. Kamala Khan portrayed by Iman was just that. She was perfect as Ms Marvel.

Though Ms. Marvel introduces a new superhero, there is a lot more to explore of Kamala Khan yet. She is still on the process of exposing her powers as a superhero. Coming to the making part, Ms Marvel is extremely colorful, quirky, musical and witty with a lot of drama – something that is new to the MCU.

But for some reason, now a days it feels like the VFX team did better works for MCU during phase three than in phase 4. Hope things will look more ‘convincing’ when Iman comes again as Ms. Marvel.

Conclusion

A good establishment of a new superhero from MCU with enough detailing and emotions as well.
